The Fujifilm X-H2S mirrorless camera includes a 26.2MP APS-C format X-Trans CMOS sensor and a brand-new, high-speed X-Processor 5 image processor, which allows it to harness twice the processing power of the previous model. This advanced processing power translates to impressive performance speed and brilliant image quality in all conditions. As well as exceptional still image quality, the X-H2S can record stunning video at up to 6K30p of 4K120p, while in-body 5-Axis stabilisation provides up to 7-stops of stabilisation for smooth and blur-free results, every single time. The Fujifilm X-H2S includes advanced focus speeds and subject tracking, and it can produce an astonishing 40 frames per second continuous shooting speeds. As well as a high-resolution EVF, this mirrorless camera includes a 3-inch tilting and touch-sensitive LCD screen, all housed inside a magnesium-alloy body with weather resistance.
The Fujifilm X-H2S is the new flagship model in this hugely successful range, including a 26.2MP X-Trans Stacked BSI CMOS sensor and a newly-designed X-Processor 5 image processor. This combination is responsible for the premium still image and video recording quality, with the latter available in 6K30p and 4K120p resolution. Also, an advantage of this brand new processor is the exceptional low-noise images which are available throughout the extended 80-51200 ISO range, and the advanced speed of the camera. This speed refers to the lightning-fast AF performance, with the latest subject tracking technology available, and the blistering continuous shooting speeds of up to 40 frames per second.
The improved processor of this camera assures more advanced video codecs can be used, such as Apple ProRes 422 HQ, while dual memory card slots are available (SD & CFExpress Type B), so users can make the most of these advancements, and store larger and a higher quantity of files.
The Fujifilm X-H2S includes an all-new 5-Axis in-body image stabilisation system, which provides up to 7-stops of stabilisation; this is a blessing when working with longer lenses, shooting in tricky lighting conditions and focussing on fast-paced subjects.
The Fujifilm X-H2S can continue its burst shooting for a prolonged period, in excellent news for keen sports photographers. At 30FPS JPEG or 20FPS RAW, this camera can capture over 1000 shots simultaneously. This camera includes a large and vivid electronic viewfinder for users that love the classic eye-level approach to composition, while a 3-inch tilting and touch-sensitive LCD screen is also available for vlogging and shooting from tricky angles. As mentioned previously, various high-end video modes are supported in the X-H2S with other video-friendly highlights being the availability of microphone and headphone ports for harnessing better quality audio, and a heat-dissipating structure to allow for longer shooting times; it is also compatible with a separately available cooling fan.
The Fujifilm X-H2S features a rugged design which is suited to use both in the studio and on the road. As well as advanced dust and weather-resistant qualities, this camera includes a durable design with a shutter mechanism rated to 500,000 actuations. Every effort has been made to produce a pleasing user experience, with numerous buttons and dials and even improvements to the button materials. As well as a tilting and touch-sensitive LCD screen that we discussed earlier, the X-H2S features a top LCD readout which provides a quick readout of crucial information, ideal for those working in fast-paced environments. Like the X-H1 before it, this camera includes a larger handgrip that makes the camera more suited for use with longer and heavier lenses, with other design highlights being the dedicated video record button, which allows vloggers to launch into a video with no delay.
