Key Sony products to get a closer look at:
Sony Photography Tools
Sony A7RV:
With its ultra-high-resolution 60.1MP full-frame CMOS image sensor, the Sony A7RV broke new ground upon release. This amount of resolving power opens multiple doors in terms of printing and cropping images; this flexibility will entice professional photographers to be keen to look at what this camera can do.
Other highlights of the Sony A7RV include built-in 8-stop image stabilisation and 8K video recording.
Sony Alpha A1:
The Sony Alpha A1 will be of particular interest to anyone wanting to see what the Alpha range provides the world of sports photography. As well as an impressive 50.5MP full-frame image sensor, the Sony Alpha A1 offers a blistering 30FPS blackout-free continuous shooting rate using the camera’s electronic shutter.
The Alpha A1 features a fast and responsive hybrid AF system, which quickly and accurately locks onto your subject and a built-in 5-axis image stabilisation system that keeps your shots blur-free even as you move around to capture the action from the best angle.
Sony Cinema Tools
Sony FX3:
For serious videographers and those working in the video production field, the Sony scene tradeshow is the perfect opportunity to get a sneak peek at the Sony FX3, which is Sony’s most compact cinema line entry to date. This interchangeable lens camera, which accepts the extensive range of Sony Alpha lenses, features a cageless weather-sealed design and a built-in cooling fan for uninterrupted 4K video.
Dual memory card slots are available for storing large amounts of footage and the FX3 also includes a handle with dual XLR inputs for attaching high-quality external microphones and harnessing top-tier sound. Pay attention to the S-Cinetone colour science, which helps this exciting camera produce natural, true-to-life colours.
Sony FE 50mm f1.4 GM Lens:
The Sony FE 50mm f1.4 GM lens, like other members of Sony’s esteemed G Master range, includes a pro-level physical design and exceptional optics - this means it can capture consistently sharp and detailed images in all conditions.
As well as an ultra-bright maximum aperture for producing stunning bokeh, this Sony lens has numerous features that will appeal to videographers attending the Sony scene tradeshow. These include lightning-fast XD linear autofocus motors, an iris lock switch, and click on/off switch.
Sony Content Creation Tools
Sony ZV-1 II:
While digital compact cameras usually suit point-and-shoot photography, models like the Sony ZV-1 II meets the needs of more advanced photographers or, in this case, vloggers. With its larger-than-average 1-inch sensor, this camera delivers excellent still images and 4K30p videos.
This new model includes a wide-angle zoom lens for framing selfie-style vlogs, while users can go live immediately and stream to popular platforms via a simple USB connection.
Sony ZV-E10 II:
Like the ZV-1 above, the Sony ZV-E10 II meets the needs of content creators everywhere with its superb 4K60p video recording and extended recording times. It also offers excellent audio capture without requiring external devices. What sets this model apart from the ZV-1 series is it is an interchangeable lens mirrorless camera, so you can alter your field of view through the extensive range of Sony E-Mount lenses.
Vlogging-friendly highlights of the ZV-E10 II include a tilting LCD screen for accurately composing your shots in front of and behind the lens and a product showcase setting that is excellent for unboxing videos.
