How long does printing take?
Most of our printing services are fast! Here's what you can expect:
Same-Day Services (while you wait):
- Standard photo prints - Ready in just 1 hour (workload permitting)
Quick Turnaround (1-2 days):
- Poster prints - Typically ready within 24-48 hours
- Standard canvas prints - Typically ready within 24-48 hours
Custom Products (1-2 weeks):
- Photo books, calendars, greeting cards - 7-14 days
- Mega canvas prints - 7-14 days
- Gift products - 7-14 days

Can I collect my order in-store?
Yes! Many of our products are available for in-store pickup, making it convenient to grab your prints while you're out shopping.

When you order online, simply select your preferred Ted's store location at checkout, and we'll notify you by email when your order is ready to collect.
Prefer delivery? Most products can also be delivered directly to your home - just select the delivery option when ordering
What file types do you accept for printing?
We accept JPEG files for all our printing services.
JPEG (also written as .jpg) is the most common photo format and works perfectly for all our printing services - from standard prints to large canvas and posters.
Not sure if your files are JPEGs?
- Most photos from smartphones and digital cameras are automatically saved as JPEGs
- If you're unsure, bring your files in-store and our friendly team can check them for you
Have files in other formats? Our team can often help convert them - just ask us in-store or contact your local Ted's for assistance.
Can I edit my photos before printing?
Absolutely! We offer several ways to edit and enhance your photos:
In-Store Editing:
- Use our self-service kiosks to make quick adjustments like cropping, rotating, and basic color corrections
- Perfect for standard prints and posters
Online Editing:
- When ordering photo books through our online Print & Create system, you can add text, borders, clipart, and arrange your photos in beautiful layouts
- Customize calendars and greeting cards with your own text and design elements
Professional Assistance:
- Not sure how to edit your photos? Our in-store team is happy to help you get the perfect result
Smartphone App:
- The Ted's Printing app lets you select and order prints directly from your phone - cropping and basic edits can be done before uploading
