Sony A7R Mark IV - Body

Sony is already a proven front runner in the full-frame Mirrorless world, and they have further cemented their place with the announcement of this exciting new model, the A7R Mark IV. A host of new features can be found in this new body, perhaps most notably a new full-frame 61MP EXMOR R CMOS sensor, bringing with it unprecedented levels of detail and a dynamic range of 15-stops. The body is similar in style to previous models in this series but it too has seen an overhaul, with enhanced weather-sealing thanks to improved gasketing for all buttons and ports. A deeper grip has been employed for a more comfortable shooting experience, while the OLED Viewfinder at the rear of the camera is another update, this new version featuring 5.76-million dots.

Videos can be recorded in 4K resolution, while in another first real-time Eye AF is available in Movie mode, for fast and intuitive AF performance. No matter your subject or medium, the Sony A7R IV has been made to excel, with a Phase Detection AF system included, with a mammoth 567 AF points. 5-Axis built-in Image Stabilisation keeps all of your results smooth and steady, while 10 frames per second continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking finds the A7R IV a suitable tool for tackling sports events and wildlife photography. The latest and most advanced connectivity is assured, with this exciting new release featuring updated Wi-Fi connectivity, for the benefit of file transfer, remote camera control and more.
