It is also available in the EOS M mount providing the same focal length, while the Micro Four Thirds version of the lens provides a 32mm equivalent. This wide focal length has long been a favourite of landscape and street photographers and is sure to be a fixture of many travel-loving photographer's kits. The large f1.4 maximum aperture of this lens will also be beneficial to travellers, allowing them to leave their tripod behind when they are packing, due to its excellent light-gathering abilities. This is one lens you can safely go hands-free with.

Made from Thermally Stable Composite materials as well as more traditional, common metals, the Sigma 16mm f1.4 DC DN lens is sturdy, yet lightweight and can be used in a variety of temperatures. The super multi-layer coating which has been applied to the elements of the lens makes light work of lens flare and ghosting, leaving you with richly-detailed images, with natural-looking colours.
