The Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type II is a versatile wide-angle prime lens built for Leica M-mount rangefinder cameras, sharing its proven optical design — eight elements in five groups, including aspherical surfaces — with the original Type I, but refined with a more intuitive focusing recess for swift and convenient distance-setting. Its bright f/2 maximum aperture excels in a wide range of lighting conditions, while the fully all-metal lens barrel keeps the construction impressively slim and lightweight at just 210g, making it ideal for street, travel, and reportage photography.

With ten aperture blades delivering beautifully smooth bokeh and a minimum focusing distance of 0.58m, this manual-focus lens offers outstanding imaging performance across the aperture range. The rangefinder coupling (to approximately 0.7m, body dependent) ensures accurate focusing on compatible cameras, and the versatile VM mount can be adapted to Sony E, Fuji FX, and Nikon Z mount cameras via appropriate adapters. Available in both black and silver finishes, this compact lens brings classic 1970s-inspired styling together with sharp, modern optical performance.
