Its all-metal body houses a precision aperture ring and a smooth focus ring, while rangefinder coupling ensures accurate focus confirmation down to 0.7 metres and a minimum focus distance of just 0.5 metres.

At the heart of this lens are two aspherical elements alongside high refractive index glass, working together to control distortion and spherical aberrations for crisp, detailed rendering across the frame. The f/1.2 maximum aperture gathers light exceptionally well in dim conditions, and a 12-blade diaphragm produces smooth, rounded bokeh that makes it a strong choice for street photography, reportage, and environmental portraiture.
