This is combined with an anti-reflective coating, known as Nano AR coating II, which manages the occurence of ghosting and lens flare. The resulting premium image quality which stems from this design is exactly what we have come to expect from Sony's excellent GM range. As mentioned, this lens is tough and outdoor friendly. Sony takes this one step further by applying a fluorine coating to the front element, which makes it easier to clean and protects it from scratches.

The Sony FE 12-24mm f2.8 GM lens includes a fast and whisper-quiet XD Linear AF motor, which is great for focussing on all manner of subjects, even if they are moving at a rapid speed, and it also allows you to enjoy the high-resolution video recording of your Sony mirrorless camera with confidence.
