A lens this fast is designed for use throughout the whole gamut of lighting conditions, able to produce blur-free images without the need of a tripod or flash, even after the sun has gone down.Another obvious benefit of this large Max aperture is the ability to create images with stunning depth of field, allowing you to really make your subject in the foreground stand out while sending the background into a dreamy blur. This background blur is of a beautiful, natural appearance due to the rounded 9-blade diaphragm.

Optical prowess for stunning resultsOptically the Sigma 30mm f1.4 is going to please both beginners and more advanced shooters, with its promise of tack sharp photographs, even in the corners of the frame. The construction includes three aspherical surfaces which both ensure this image sharpness and also help with the reduction of aberrations and other imperfections. Also on board for the reduction of such detriments are a super multi-layer coating and a high-refractive-index element.
