This includes a new Astro-focus mode that automatically focuses the lens to infinity when pressed and an LED index. The lens provides maximum sharpness and resolution while minimising spherical and coma aberration, thanks to its optical design that includes a total of 11 elements in 8 groups, with 7 special lenses (2 ASP, 3 HR, 2 ED).

The Samyang 24mm f1.8 FE lens is compact and lightweight but this doesn't mean it is a pushover; it is weather-sealed at 5 spots to protect it from light rain, dust and other environmental factors. For a pleasing user experience, this Samyang prime lens features a customisable focus hold button, which can keep the lens focussed on one point and be assigned to perform other tasks, and a custom switch that can be used to access aperture control mode and more.

The bright f1.8 maximum aperture of the Samyang 24mm f1.8 FE lens is great for available light shooting but it also allows stunning depth of field control, while the 9-blade circular aperture ensures out of focus areas are soft and natural in appearance. A linear STM motor is included for fast and accurate AF performance - this motor is also smooth and quiet, lending itself to video purposes.
