The Rode PG2-R is a professional pistol grip shock mount designed to reduce handling noise when recording with shotgun microphones in handheld or boompole-mounted applications. Featuring dual Rycote Lyre shock mounts for maximum vibration isolation, four mounting points for compatible Rode microphones, and a lightweight, ergonomic handle with cushioned grip, this mount delivers excellent performance for broadcast, film, and content creation professionals. The integrated cable management system allows XLR cables to run through the handle assembly, whilst the 3/8" threaded base enables secure connection to boompoles and microphone stands.
