The WG1000 is a tough action camera, so you can take it with you on all types of adventures, ranging from days lounging by the pool, to days in the sand, and even hikes into the wilderness. The rugged features of this Digital compact camera include being 15M waterproof and 2M shockproof, as well as being dustproof. The WG1000 is not all brawn, and it is gifted with a range of features to help you capture all of the action in the best light, including a 16MP CMOS image sensor, versatile 4x optical zoom lens and 1080p HD video capture.

The wide-angle lens of the WG1000 starts at a 27mm wide-angle equivalent, which means you can frame a range of subjects, including those that are fast and often hard to fit into a frame. It is easy to get a dynamic and accurate composition, using the large and bright 2.7-inch LCD screen of the WG1000, while even if conditions are dim, such as underwater, you can still capture sharp, blur-free images, thanks to the digital image stabilisation.
