This lens combines intelligent optical design with practical features that make it easy to capture sharp, clear images in almost any situation. The motorised zoom lever ensures smooth, precise zooming when recording HD video, whilst the advanced POWER Optical Image Stabiliser delivers exceptional stabilisation even in challenging light. The improved gyro sensor is twice as effective at suppressing large, slow movements compared to earlier models.

Optically, the lens features two ED elements and two aspherical elements that work together to minimise chromatic aberration and deliver consistent contrast and resolution across the entire zoom range. The seven-blade circular aperture produces beautiful, smooth out-of-focus areas. Nano Surface Coating reduces ghosts and flaring across the full visible light spectrum.

Autofocus is fast and responsive thanks to the inner-focus system and stepping motor, delivering Light Speed AF in approximately 0.15 seconds when paired with LUMIX G cameras. The compact design and modest 210-gram weight make this lens ideal for travel and everyday shooting.
