The Gitzo GK2542-F3W Mountaineer Series 2 is a lightweight carbon fibre tripod kit combining a 4-section Mountaineer tripod with a 3-way fluid head for smooth, accurate framing and composition adjustments. Engineered with Carbon eXact tubing for maximum rigidity and image stability, this perfectly balanced kit reaches a maximum height of 177 cm and supports payloads up to 13 kg. The 3-way fluid head features independent fluid cartridges on each axis for silky smooth movements without stick-slip, whilst its retractable handles and ultra-light magnesium body make it ideal for location work. The kit includes a rubberised Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate (GS5370DR) and features independent pan and tilt locks for precise camera control.
