With a safety payload of 2KG the DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal is not only perfect for use with smartphones, but also your favourite mirrorless camera with various lenses attached. When you do want to use your phone to create content, the RS4 makes this task easy, with the separately available smartphone holder. The DJI RS4 gimbal can be used with accessories such as LED lighting and microphone devices, while still providing the same smooth movements.

The DJI RS4 gimbal offers the auto axis locks that have previously been found on flagship DJI gimbal models. This feature means the locks unlock upon power on and lock upon power off, which speeds up the filming, transition and storage process. The axis arms now also fold flatter, making this gimbal the best option for travel.

Balancing your camera on the DJI RS 4 Mini is easier than ever. Upgrades like Teflon‚Ñ¢ interlayers (previously used on flagship gimbals) reduce friction for smoother balancing, while a new fine-tuning knob allows for precise, millimeter-level adjustments. The quick-release plate with three positioning slots offers more balancing space and remembers your camera's position for quick re-attachment without needing to re-balance. The DJI RS 4 Mini's touchscreen interface is improved with clearer icons and smoother performance. New status prompts have been added, and parameter adjustments are easier with direct fine-tuning via the front dial. A new auto-lock feature dims the screen and displays the current gimbal and joystick modes, preventing accidental touches and saving battery life.
