The Canon EC-D is a replacement laser-matte focusing screen designed for Canon EOS-1 series digital SLR cameras (EOS 1Ds II, 1Ds, 1D II N, 1D II, 1V, 1VHS, and EOS 3). This precision focusing screen features a laser-matte surface with grid sections to assist with composition and manual focusing, making it especially useful for close-up photography, macro work, and general photography with all lens types. The matte field displays the entire image area going in and out of focus, even with lenses having an effective aperture smaller than f/5.6, whilst the engraved grid lines help ensure accurate horizontal and vertical alignment in your frame.
