Built from carbon fibre with a columnless design, it minimises the vibration and shake that often comes with traditional centre columns -- making it an excellent choice for video work where smoothness matters.

Setup is quick and intuitive. The legs feature automatic angle adjustment with three locking positions, so you can find the perfect stance for any shooting scenario. The auto-hold leg trigger lets you change angles with a simple push of a button, then lock in your preferred angle just as easily. Twist-lock collars keep everything secure and are designed for fast, confident operation even when you're working quickly.

Despite its compact footprint, the Tortoise 34C delivers impressive versatility. The lightweight aluminium leg spider can be reversed for inverted shooting or compact folding, and it includes three 1/4"-20 threaded accessory sockets. This means you can mount extension arms, LED lights, microphones, monitors, and other gear without needing additional adapters. The tripod head mount accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads, so it's compatible with most standard heads, ball heads, fluid heads, and gimbals.

Rubber feet with three contact surfaces grip reliably whether your legs are vertical, angled, or nearly horizontal. At just 19.6cm when fully collapsed and extending to 40cm, it strikes the perfect balance between portability and usable height.
