A modern DSLR needs to be a jack of all trades. Nikon, showing that they are very aware of this, bring you the powerful and versatile D780. Internally this full-frame DSLR features a 24.5MP backside-illuminated FX full-frame sensor, which is able to produce stunning photo and video results, in a wide gamut of lighting conditions - this is what draws us all to full-frame. The D780 uses a 51-point AF system, which takes advantage of AF algorithms on loan from the flagship D5, which promise a premium level of AF speed and precision, particularly noticeable when shooting with the camera's optical viewfinder. The 273-point Phase-Detection system will come in handy for users of Live View, both for shooting stills and for making the most of the 4K 30P videos on offer.

The Nikon D780 is made for enthusiasts and professionals that want to express themselves in various ways, without having to overcome too many hurdles. In-camera, it is not just capable of 4K video, but also slow-motion and time-lapse results. In the still photography sphere, this camera can shoot remoteless long exposures - just think of the possibilities. The new top shutter speed of 1/8000 sec will be welcomed by sports and action photographers, while Dual UHS-II SD card slots are available for handling the large video files and numerous continuous shooting files, in a way that suits every personal workflow.
