Changing between tripod and monopod and back again is quick and easy, so you can make adjustments when out in the field, and then switch back whenever you are ready. The ball head on top of this tripod is very simple to use, allowing you to make full adjustments to image composition via the three independent controls; one for sphere lock, one for friction control, and a panoramic control knob.

The Manfrotto Befree 2-in-1 tripod features the new and unique QPL travel lever lock, a feature that provides the ultimate in support and reliability and is usually found in higher-end Manfrotto tripods. Now it is available in a lightweight and portable package, which is suited to travel. This legs of this tripod can be adjusted to 3 different angles, while the leg angle adjuster has been made to be comfortable to both left and right hand shooters.
