This lens includes an impressively fast and quiet AF system, with quad linear AF motors used, which also allows the lens to perform in a whisper-quiet fashion - it is a great choice for continuous shooting and video recording purposes.
The Sony FE 16-35mm f2.8 GM MKII Zoom lens includes a rugged dust and moisture-resistant design, so it can be enjoyed freely in outdoor conditions. All seams on the lens include structural sealing, rubber gaskets are included on buttons and switches, and the lens mount is rubber sealed. As an added bonus, the front element of the lens is fluorine coated to repel water and oils, and make it safer and easier to clean.
