Sony A7 Mark III

With a brand new 24.2MP Exmor R CMOS full-frame back-illuminated sensor the Sony A7 Mark III promises exceptional low-light shooting performance and a remarkable 15-stops of dynamic range. This sensor, combined with the high-performance BIONZ X image processor allows a blistering continuous shooting rate of 10 frames per second, as well as fast and accurate autofocus. The revamped Fast Hybrid AF system utilises 693 phase-detection points and 425 contrast-detection points, which assures AF speeds are consistently speedy, even in dimly-lit scenarios.

Not surprisingly, the A7 Mark III is not just a high-performer in terms of stills, with UHD 4K resolution video on offer. In another advancement from previous models, the entire sensor width can be utilised during video recording, which improves the overall quality when using higher sensitivities, and reduces moire and aliasing. Full pixel readout is possible, while the resolution can be lowered to Full HD 1080p which supports 120fps recording.

As if the low-light/handheld shooting performance wasn’t impressive enough, the Sony A7 Mark III features built-in 5-Axis SteadyShot Image Stabilisation. This IS system corrects for 5 types of camera shake, so you can enjoy shooting both stills and videos without the need for a tripod, without shake and blur spoiling the party.
