The Sigma AF 105mm F2.8 DG DN Art Macro lens is a mid-telephoto Macro lens, which is great for all manner of photographic purposes, including wildlife, sports, events and portraits, and of course Macro. The best suit macro shooting this lens pairs its mid-telephoto focal length with a 1:1 magnification ratio and a closest focus of just 29.5cm. The lens also features a fast f2.8 maximum aperture, great for exploring shallow depths of field in your images.
This Sigma Macro lens includes a Hypersonic motor that will suit all users, no matter what they are using the lens for, with its smooth and accurate performance. A focus limiter switch is also included, which equips the lens for the current shoot and saves the lens from working hard to find a focal point. An AFL button can also be found on the Sigma AF 105mm ART lens, to which users can assign a specific function for a pleasing user experience.
The Sigma AF 105mm F2.8 DG DN Art Macro lens features a premium optical design which leads to consistent edge to edge sharpness. The lens features a physical aperture ring and users can decide between the aperture clicking sound being audible or not, the latter being a favoured option of many macro photographers. This lens features a protective oil and water-repellent coating, as well as a dust and splash-proof build, both of which allow you to shoot freely in outdoor conditions.
