This Sigma prime lens has been designed to meet the resolution of modern full-frame image sensors, thanks to a brilliant optical design with 3 aspherical and 1 SLD element included in the design of 14 elements in 11 groups. The lens is just as notable for its physical prowess, with dust and splash-resistant qualities, as well as a water and oil-repellant coating on the front element of the lens.
