Compatible with Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, this lens can also be put to use on DX-format cameras, on which it delivers a 105-450mm equivalent zoom range.

A high-quality optical design is required to deliver such performance in a portable package, and the Tamron 70-300mm Di III RXD complies with its design of 15 elements in 10 groups. The low-dispersion lens element included in this design is particularly handy for managing the various aberrations that are common for telephoto lenses. This lens is compatible with lens correction functions and more, while further firmware updates are available, using Tamron's lens utility software. To reduce the occurrence of flare and ghosting, this lens has been treated with Tamron's excellent BBAR coating.

The Tamron 70-300mm Di III RXD lens is just as reliable physically as it is optically, with a study aluminium-magnesium alloy construction, as well as sealings at numerous locations, resulting in moisture-resistant qualities. The RXD Stepping AF Motor of this Tamron zoom lens is ideal for a modern mirrorless camera, which offers impressive video and photo performance in equal measures. This system is fast and accurate, while it remains whisper-quiet, so as not to be detected by subjects as well as microphones.
