This means that you can enjoy outstanding resolution and contrast right out to the image edges. The Sony FE 300mm f2.8 GM OSS Lens also features astonishingly fast, precise autofocus. This makes it easy to track moving subjects, even in challenging lighting conditions.

The Sony FE 300mm f2.8 GM OSS Lens lens can capture sharp, high-quality images with the typical high-quality design that we expect of the GM series. It has three Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements and one ED glass element that helps to reduce chromatic aberrations. This means that you can enjoy sharp, detailed images right out to the edges of the frame. The lens is also compatible with both 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, which can extend its focal length to up to 600mm (900mm equivalent on APS-C format), albeit with a reduced F5.6 maximum aperture. This is particularly handy for those demanding extra telephoto reach for specific applications.
