Designed for use on APS-C sensors, this lens provides a wide-angle 28.5mm equivalent, which will be familiar to anyone interested in traditional landscape or street-style photography. With its relatively bright f2.8 aperture, this lens delivers very good subject isolation, as well as low-light performance, so you can do much of your shooting without a tripod. The newly designed linear AF system is fast and quiet enough to suit the shooting of various subjects, while the fact that the focus is done internally means it retains its portable size when in use.
