Sigma took the world by storm with the original Sigma 35mm Art lens, and with this new edition, the Sigma AF 35mm f1.4 EX DG DN Art, they make any adjustments necessary. This lens has been redesigned to be a better fit for modern Mirrorless cameras. When mounted on these more portable cameras, this Sigma lens is well-balanced and comfortable. Getting to the important factors, this Sigma lens features a brilliant optical makeup which includes two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements, an Extraordinary Low Dispersion (ELD) element, an ‘F’ Low Dispersion (FLD) element and two aspherical elements - all of this work together to produce sharp and detailed images and reduced aberrations. This Sigma Art lens is also built well physically, with a dust and splash-proof design, thanks to sealings at various critical points, a rubber gasket around the mount, and an all-important protective coating to the front element.

Although it is more portable in nature, the Sigma AF 35mm f1.4 EX DG DN Art lens is designed to meet the needs of more demanding photographers. It includes a fast and quiet stepping motor for tracking moving subjects, as well as smooth and responsive manual focus. The physical aperture ring of this lens is great for anyone wanting to make fast and intuitive manual adjustments, while as the aperture ring is de-clickable, it can be used for quiet operation while shooting movies. Another addition to this aperture ring is its lockable function, which saves it from bumping off Auto mode during shooting. Other important additions to this exciting lens are a focus mode switch, and an AFL button for customising your shooting experience.
