Optically, the lens features numerous high-end elements (2 FLD, 2 SLD, 3 aspherical), and coatings to assure image quality and sharpness are both exceptional at all focal lengths, while physically it is a wonder that such a compact and lightweight lens could be so sturdy - this Sigma lens will not be backing out of a photoshoot.
