This lens has been designed for use with full-frame Mirrorless systems, and it provides these systems with a versatile wide to portrait-length zoom option that can be relied on day after day. If you are travelling or documenting your everyday life, this is one lens that you can turn to, in order to aptly frame everything around you.

Throughout the versatile focal range this Sigma lens delivers a bright f2.8 maximum aperture, which equates to a consistent level of depth of field control, as well as low-light performance. The lens features smooth autofocus, which can be utilised to adequately focus on your still-image subjects, as well as your video applications. The lens is not just well-made in terms of its optical design, but it is also rugged and reliable physically, with dust and splash-resistance.

Further enhancing the subject matter that this lens can be used to photograph and film, is the close-up performance which includes a minimum focusing distance of 7.1" and maximum magnification of 1:2.9 at its widest end, as well as a minimum focusing distance of 1.25' and a maximum magnification of 1:4.5 at the telephoto end. The workhorse Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 DG DN Art lens includes an integrated AF-L button, which can be programmed to adjust numerous shooting settings, while the lens also features a dedicated AF/MF switch and a zoom lock switch to prevent the barrel from being unintentionally extended.
