Featuring the long-reaching zoom without any of the bulk associated with telephoto zoom lenses, this Sigma 100-400mm f5-6.3 DG OS C lens is a great addition to any gadget bag. Suited to various long reaching applications, including wildlife and sports photography this excellent Sigma lens is constructed using Thermally Composite Material which allows it to remain relatively lightweight. Slotting in nicely to Sigma's impressive 'contemporary' range, the images produced by the 100-400mm are sharp and detailed enough to rival other more expensive competitors, with aberrations, distortions and similar being well-maintained thanks to the high-quality optics.
Readying you for virtually any shooting condition, Sigma has included both HSM autofocus and an Optical Stabiliser in the 100-400mm C. The Hypersonic focus motor allows you to quickly and accurately attain focus on your subject, be it moving or still and it does so in a smooth and discreet manner, so you can employ the lens for both stills and videos. The Optical Stabiliser makes light work of camera shake, resulting in sharp and clear images even in low light conditions that require slower shutter speeds.
