This Sigma zoom lens is incredibly portable considering its zoom range, while it is splash and dust-resistant to allow use in different climates. With a fast f2.8 maximum aperture available throughout the zoom range, this Sigma lens can be used in all lighting conditions and is capable of great depth of field control.
Within its high-quality optical design of 20 elements in 15 groups, the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 DG DN OS Sport lens includes a range of high-end elements, which helps it to produce stunningly sharp and detailed imagery throughout usage. These include 6 FLD, 2 SLD and 3 Aspherical elements. This Sigma lens uses a high-response linear actuator to drive autofocus, and a floating focus design, resulting in lighting-fast response speeds.
The Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 DG DN OS Sport Lens lens includes inner zoom, which allows the barrel length to remain unchanged during usage - this is great for portability, as well as enhancing the dust and splash-proof structure of the lens. In a first for a DN zoom lens, this lens includes a physical aperture ring. Other important additions to the lens barrel include a focus limiter switch, OS mode switch, custom mode switch, and 3 AFL buttons - this lens can be configured to suit your shooting needs.
