The ultra-bright f1.4 maximum aperture of this lens lets in plenty of light, so you can use the lens in all lighting conditions, while it also provides impressive depth of field control. The versatile field of view provided by this Sigma prime lens is great for landscapes, travel and even documentary-style portraits.

Within its optical design, the Sigma 23mm f1.4 DC DN C lens includes 3 SLD Glass and 2 Aspherical elements, which means image sharpness and detail is premium at all settings, while aberrations and distortions are well limited. Super multi-layer coatings have been applied, so colour accuracy and contrast are brilliant, while reflections are well suppressed. The Sigma 23mm f1.4 DC DN C lens offers fast and quiet AF performance, suitable for both still and video work, thanks to the Stepping AF motor.
