The Profoto A2 Off Camera Flash is small and portable; it is in fact the smallest ever Monolight from Profoto. The small stature of this flash gun makes it ideal for use on location, while its superb power output makes you feel like you harness the power of a full studio in the palm of your hand. This Profoto Flash features AirX connectivity built-in, meaning you can use it in more extensive lighting setups, and it can fire with any camera or even your smartphone. Controlling the settings and output is easy, either via the large display on the flash, remotely or on your connected smartphone. This product is lithium battery-powered and the fast-charging battery provides up to 400 full-powered flashes on a single charge.

As well as a powerful flash output of 100Ws, the Profoto A2 includes a continuous LED lighting output of up to 200 Lumens. This constant lighting is dimmable and features a colour temperature of 3500K. By using the Profoto Clic OCF Adapter II, the Profoto A2 becomes compatible with the huge range of Profoto light shaping tools, so you can be in full control with the power, look and character of your artificial lighting.

Wireless control is one of the key selling points of the Profoto A2 off camera flash. This unit is compatible with Profoto Air, Air TTL and Connect remotes. Wireless control is available at up to 100m when using a remote, while if you are operating the flash via a connected Bluetooth device, the maximum range is 30m.
