A fast f1.8 maximum aperture is available, permitting you to shoot at faster shutter speeds than otherwise available, consequently leading to less camera shake. You can also isolate subjects when shooting the lens wide open and create beautiful, dreamy bokeh.

The multi-focusing system of the Nikon Z 24mm f1.8 S lens means you can capture your subject sharp and in focus, whether they are in the centre of your frame, or towards the edge. The STM AF system works swiftly and quietly, which means the lens is not only useful for still shooting but also for video capture. With ED and Aspherical elements used in the production of this lens, photographs are exceptionally detailed and clear, which is a match for the full-frame sensor of the Nikon Z mirrorless system. Flare and ghosting are held at bay by Nikon's Nano Crystal and Super Integrated coatings. As with other lenses in this range, the 24mm f1.8 features a programmable control ring, which you can use to focus manually, as well as adjust various exposure functions.
