Images shown are not the actual product and are for reference purposes only. The actual unit may show some signs of use, minor marks or scratches.
All Secondhand camera bodies come with a battery, charger, and body cap, where applicable. All Secondhand lenses come with front and rear lens caps. Any additional accessories are dependent on what is included at the time of trade-in.
With the D800, Nikon far exceeded the expectations of what an FX-format camera is capable of. The superb resolution of the full-frame sensor, which is 36.3MP, puts the D800 in a league of its own and announces the camera as serious competition for medium format models. At a fraction of the price of these medium format cameras, the D800 has a lot of professionals taking notice, wondering if it is time to consider adding a reasonably sized DSLR to their gadget bag. As well as the sensor, the Nikon D800 bases its performance on the EXPEED 3 image processor, this combo producing exceptional low-light performance, not to mention rapid operating speeds.
For enthusiasts working in any field, the robust D800 has performance chops to match. A speedy 4 frames per second continuous shooting rate is backed by a fast and accurate 51-point AF system. This AF system is also adept at finding focus in dark surroundings, playing to the camera's strengths as a low-light powerhouse. For the more versatile shooter, the D800 provides Full HD video at 30p, the camera's full-frame sensor coming into effect and delivering smooth and beautifully rendered movies. The newly developed shutter unit allows a top speed of 1/8000 of a second, while a hugely beneficial feature for the working professional is its reliability, tested for 200,000 shutter actuations.
