The Nikon 18-140mm lens is an extremely versatile everyday lens for Nikon’s DX format cameras. The 35mm equivalent zoom range of 27-210mm is well suited to a vast range of photography types like portraiture, landscapes and sports. There isn't really a situation that this lens will not be handy for shooting in.

Optically the 18-140mm performs excellently thanks to one ED glass element and one aspherical lens element leading to sharp and contrasty pictures with colours rendered beautifully. Out of focus areas appear smooth and beautiful, while ghosting and flare is reduced through special lens coatings.

The silent wave motor included in the 18-140mm is very fast and as the name suggests, very quiet.
