The Manfrotto MVH500AH is a fluid video head purpose-built for DSLR filmmakers who demand smooth, professional camera movement. Its wide, flat base provides a stable foundation for DSLR camera bodies, whilst the sliding plate lets you adjust the centre of balance for larger lenses.

Fluid cartridges on both pan and tilt axes deliver consistently smooth motion across a full 360 pan range and -70 to +90 lateral tilt. The spring-loaded counter-balance system (2.4kg) works with the 8kg maximum load capacity to keep your rig perfectly balanced throughout your shot.

The redesigned quick-release system features a convenient side-lock mechanism, so you can insert and release the QR plate from the top without reaching behind. An Easy Link 3/8" connector lets you attach external monitors, lights, or microphones for greater creative control.

Built from aluminium alloy using Manfrotto's Bridging Technology, this head weighs just 930 grams, making it a practical addition to any videographer's kit. Independent pan and tilt locks give you precise control, whilst the included pan bar can be positioned in two different locations to suit your working style.
