The Manfrotto 231B is a professional-grade lighting column stand built for studio work. This black anodised aluminium stand features a wheeled base and spring-loaded sliding arm, letting you position your light fixtures with precision and speed.

Height adjustments are effortless thanks to the one-hand sliding arm design -- simply grip and slide to set your light anywhere from 35 cm to 2.5 m high. The chromium steel column provides solid support for up to 8 kg of lighting gear, whilst the integral leveling leg locks into place for stable operation on uneven floors or steps.

Setup takes seconds, and the fold-away base with locking wheels breaks down just as quickly for transport or storage. Mount multiple fixtures on the same column for complex lighting setups, and the standard 5/8" receiver accepts most lighting heads. The included adapter provides both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw options for maximum compatibility.
