The Ilford Multigrade RC Deluxe Pearl is the 5th generation of the world's most popular black and white darkroom paper, offering outstanding versatility for both beginners and experienced darkroom printers. Measuring 8x10" (20.3 x 25.4cm) and supplied in a 25-sheet pack, this resin-coated paper features a Pearl 44M surface finish that reduces surface reflections while retaining enough reflectivity to deliver deep, rich blacks and a long apparent tonal scale. At 190gsm medium weight, it delivers an accurate linear contrast profile across the full grades 00-5 range, a truly neutral base tint that responds exceptionally well to toning solutions, and enhanced mid-tone separation for greater flexibility when printing negatives of varying densities. It is compatible with conventional black and white negatives as well as chromogenic black and white negative films, and can be processed in trays or via machine processors using standard black and white chemistry.
