At the heart of the TT685IIF is full FUJIFILM TTL compatibility, giving you automated exposure control and access to high-speed sync up to 1/8000 seconds. The built-in 2.4 GHz X wireless radio system lets you trigger the flash remotely as either a master or slave unit across up to 32 channels and five groups, with a reliable range of 328 feet. You can also use optical pulse triggering for traditional wireless setups.

The flash head offers impressive versatility: it zooms from 20-200mm to match your lens coverage, tilts from -7 to +120 degrees for bounce lighting, and rotates a full 330 degrees horizontally. With a guide number of 197 feet at ISO 100, it delivers enough power for most shooting situations. The unique TCM (TTL Converted to Manual) function lets you instantly lock an exposure value in TTL mode and convert to manual, making it easy to dial in the right power level for off-camera flash slaves.

Quick power adjustments are straightforward: manual control ranges from 1/1 to 1/128 in 1/3 EV steps. Recycle times of 0.1 to 2.6 seconds keep you ready for the next shot. An easy-to-read rear LCD displays all your settings at a glance, and a quick-release lock mount ensures fast, secure attachment.

Power comes from four standard AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH), good for roughly 330 full-power flashes per charge. For extended shooting sessions, the external power port accepts compatible power packs like the PB960 to boost performance. A 2.5mm sync port provides wired connectivity when needed, and USB Type-C allows future firmware updates.
