The carbon fibre build of this tripod helps it to be strong yet portable, as does a unique 180-degree leg folding system. The versatile 4-section legs can open up to a generous maximum height for seeing over crowds, while ground-level viewing is also made possible, thanks to the reversing centre column. The ball head included in this tripod kit is one of the slimmest in the Gitzo range but it still includes a well-made design of steel and aluminium parts. This ball head features an independent pan lock, bubble level for keeping things straight, and an arca-swiss compatible QR plate for quick mounting and dismounting of your camera.

The Gitzo GK1545T-82TQD includes Gitzo's Traveler G-Lock, which means the same level of strength and support that you would expect from a Gitzo product is included, albeit in a portable package. A shoulder strap is included for easy carrying, while the rubber feet help to find steady footing on tricky terrain, and they can be replaced if necessary.
