As well as a high-quality optical design, this Fujifilm prime lens is well-built physically, with advanced weather sealing, and a fluorine coating to keep the crucial front element of the lens safe, and easy to clean.

Within its optical design, the Fujifilm GF 55mm F1.7 R WR Lens includes two Aspherical and two ED lens elements, which as well as consistent sharpness and detail, also help to reduce chromatic aberrations and colour inaccuracies. The bright maximum aperture of the lens is easy to unleash using the physical aperture ring, where an "A" setting can also be found for faster and simpler automated shooting.

The Fujifilm GF 55mm F1.7 R WR Lens includes a DC Motor with GMR Sensor AF System for delivering fast and incredibly accurate AF performance, making this prime lens great for all types of still photography purposes and even video recording.
