The tilting and shifting functions of the TS-E 24mm f3.5 lens serve several purposes, such as depth of field control, perspective adjustments and correcting the convergence of lines within your pictures. Tilting and shifting can be done in unison or singly, allowing professionals and serious users a high level of accuracy when dealing with these adjustments.

+/- 8.5 degree maximum tilt
+/- 12mm maximum shift
Mount rotates 90 degrees left and right, with click stops every 30 degrees
Adjust the tilt and shift singly or simultaneously

As you would expect from an L series lens, the TS-E 24mm f3.5 L II has been constructed to premium standards in terms of both build and optics. Aspherical and ultra-low dispersion lens elements have been included in the design, which results in sharp and detailed images from edge to edge, plus the suppression of aberrations.

For tackling lens flare and ghosting Canon have implemented sub-wavelength coatings, which also helps to improve colour accuracy and contrast.
