Address Verification (AV)

  • All credit card transactions undergo an Address Verification check
  • A successful payment gateway response does not guarantee order approval

Why verification may fail

  • Billing address or phone number does not match card details
  • PO Boxes and mobile phone numbers are not accepted for verification
  • Address cannot be verified via public records

If verification fails:

  • Additional identification may be requested
  • Order dispatch may be delayed

Promotions & Discount Codes
  • Promotion codes may require a minimum spend
  • Codes are valid online only at teds.com.au
  • Promotion codes:

    Can be used multiple times within the valid period (unless stated otherwise)
    Cannot be exchanged for cash
    Cannot be replaced if lost
    Cannot be used with other promotions, sales, bonuses, or special offers
    Expiry dates are strictly enforced

Delivery During Sales Periods

Delivery times may be extended during major events such as:

  • Christmas/Boxing Day
  • End of Financial Year
  • Black Friday

Dispatch delays of up to 2 business days may occur. Please refer to your dispatch confirmation email for the most accurate delivery information.
Pricing Errors

While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy:

Delivery Options

Standard Post (Australia Only)

  • Delivered via Australia Post Registered Mail (person-to-person)
  • Flat rate: $9.95
  • Delivery time: 3–5 business days
  • Signature and photo ID required

If delivery cannot be completed:

  • A card will be left with instructions for redelivery or collection

Authority to Leave (ATL)

It is important to consider that if you alter your delivery to authority to leave we can no longer guarantee that you will receive your consignment, nor the other factors that
can affect your parcel whilst it is sitting unattended - like rain, heat, dirt,
damage, etc. In this situation, we can only guarantee delivery and quality up
to the point that the track and trace tell us the goods were left for you
Click & Collect (In-Store Pickup)
  • Available at all Ted’s Camera Stores
  • Free service
  • Processing time for Click and Collects may vary depending on stock availability
  • You will be contacted when it is ready to collect

Collection requirements:

  • Only the person named on the order may collect
  • Valid Australian photo ID required
  • Orders over $1,000 may require the original payment card
14-Day Exchange Guarantee
  • Applies to hardware products only
  • Exchange within 14 days of purchase
  • Items must be:
    In original condition
    With original packaging and receipt

    Exclusions:
  • Perishables (film, chemistry, inks)
  • Special orders
  • Demo models and run-outs
  • Selected professional products

This guarantee is in addition to statutory consumer rights
Manufacturer’s Warranty
  • All products include a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty
  • Warranty claims can be processed through any Ted’s Camera Store
Printing Services – Important Conditions

By submitting photofinishing services, you agree to:

Liability limitation

  • Liability is limited to the cost of unexposed film
  • No responsibility accepted for loss or damage, including negligence
  • Commercial, academic, or professional work is excluded from additional liability

Negatives retention

  • Negatives not collected within 60 days will be securely destroyed

Digital file preservation

  • Customers should retain original digital files until prints are received and verified
Limited Supply & Commercial Quantities
  • Purchase limits may apply to ensure fair access to high-demand or promotional items
