Nikon has extended their newest Z-mount to the smaller format APS-C world, with the introduction of the portable Z50. The Z50 features much of the same characteristics of the larger Z6 and Z7 but in a more compact package, which will entice beginners and enthusiasts to try out this exciting mirrorless range. Inside the Z50 you will find a 20MP APS-C sensor and EXPEED 6 processor, which work together to allow 11 frames per second continuous shooting and a suitably fast and accurate 209-point hybrid AF system. Despite its reduction in size, the sleek body of this Mirrorless camera is weather-sealed and it contains a high-res EVF as well as a 3.2-inch touch-sensitive, tilting LCD screen.
The new Nikon Z50 s a portable DX-format addition to Nikon's Mirrorless Z-mount. Like its full-frame bigger siblings, the Z50 is a versatile and reliable performer, able to capture high-class photos and videos in a range of conditions. A 20MP APS-C image sensor and Nikon's EXPEED 6 processor enable fast continuous shooting speeds, reliable focus performance, 4K resolution video and remarkable low-light performance, right up to the top ISO of 51200. By including this APS-C-format body, Nikon has managed to create a more compact offering and therefore introduced their classy mirrorless system to a wider audience.
The Nikon Z50 features a sleek and ergonomic design, compact enough for all-day shooting but still tough, with a magnesium build and weather-sealing. Included in the body of the Nikon Z50 are a pop-up flash, high-resolution electronic viewfinder and 3.2-inch touchscreen. This touch-screen is of the tilting type, so you can comfortably frame your selfies. Nikon's SnapBridge app makes it easier and quicker than ever to share your results after they have been captured, and the Z50 continues this trend thanks to the inclusion of built-in WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity.
