This Nikon Z 28mm F2.8 Lens is a slim and lightweight prime lens, which adds plenty of punch and usability to your Nikon mirrorless camera while keeping your kit travel-friendly. The compact, simple design of this Nikon prime lens also helps you blend into the crowd, so you can capture images around your hometown, or abroad at your favourite travel destination, without bringing attention to yourself.

Thanks to its maximum f2.8 aperture, this lens lets in enough light for you to shoot handheld in most conditions, while the 28mm focal length is great for street photography, landscapes and much more.

The Nikon Z 28mm f2.8 lens is suitable for use on full-frame Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, as well as DX-format mirrorless cameras, on which it provides a 42mm equivalent focal length - this is a classic "normal" field of view, which suits general purpose photography.

As well as a smooth and comfortable focus ring, this compact Nikon lens features a fast and accurate AF system that is suitable for both still and video shooting - this is a result of the dual stepping AF motors.

Optically this lens performs as excellently as you would expect a lens from the Z lineup to perform, thanks to the use of an Aspherical lens element, as well as Nikon's super integrated lens coating, which assures high levels of contrast and colour accuracy, and reduced ghosting, flare and internal reflections. Other highlights include good close-up performance, thanks to the closest focus of just 19cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 0.2x, and dust and drip resistance, meaning the lens can be enjoyed outdoors in changing climates.
