Nikon D7500 - Premium build and images, in a slimmer package
The New Nikon D7500 proves that Nikon have their finger on the pulse of the photographic community, delivering flagship quality in a compact and lightweight body. With this in mind, it is easy to see that this camera will be a success amongst beginners and enthusiasts who can’t quite afford, or are not yet ready for the jump into full-frame territory, but are after more than your standard entry or mid-level camera can deliver. Borrowed from a previously announced, high-achiever is the DX-format sensor, which lacks a low-pass filter for maximum sharpness and has a resolution of 20.9MP. Nikon’s Expeed 5 processor is included, allowing for quick functionality, fast buffer speeds when shooting Raw files and superb image quality. This top-tier quality is evident even in the higher ISO levels, with pictures that are clean and clear even in relative darkness.
With 8 frames per second continuous shooting and a super-speedy 51 point AF system, even the quickest of subjects cannot escape the frames of the Nikon D7500. You will find it remarkably easy to track and trace wildlife as they scamper across the horizon and needless to see human subjects can easily be photographed with accuracy and efficiency, which allows you to seize every opportunity and pounce when your model is at their most unguarded. When the still image just doesn’t cut it the D7500 is ready to facilitate you with its brilliant UHD 4K video mode. Videos produced are rich and detailed, while a host of features will enable you to experiment and enjoy your first taste of filmmaking. These features include power aperture control, touch focus and time-lapse video
Compared to its predecessor the D7500 has had a body redesign, resulting in a slimmer and more compact camera. The slimmer design has also led to a grip that feel much more comfortable, benefitting extended handheld use. Despite its smaller stature the camera retains its weather-sealing characteristics, able to withstand dust, moisture and some of the rigour that you may experience out in the elements. To compose your photos and videos and to make quick changes to menu options and settings you are supplied with a large, bright touch sensitive screen. This 3.2 inch monitor is also tiltable, aiding with composing images in tricky situations and angles to ensure you will never crop an important aspect out of your photograph.
