The DJI Ronin 4D combines everything the company has discovered through its years of innovation, to produce a high-end experience for demanding cinematographers. The Ronin 4D is a modular system, with the camera component responsible for the high-end video performance, advanced stabilisation system and wireless transmission. The Zenmuse X9 is included in the Ronin 4D, which is DJI's flagship model camera, notable for its full-frame size and high-resolution, which pairs up with a powerful CineCore 3.0 processor. This version of the DJI Ronin 4D is capable of 6K60fps and 4K120fps video.

DJI are known for their brilliant 3-Axis gimbal stabilised cameras, but with the Ronin 4D a Z-Axis has been added to the gimbal repertoire, which means the Ronin 4D provides impressively smooth and stable 4-Axis stabilisation.

High-end audio recording is possible with the DJI Ronin 4D, either by a connected external microphone using the available 3.5mm and XLR inputs, or the built-in microphones which support dual-channel 24-bit audio recording.

The Zenmuse X9 camera is capable of an impressive 14-stops of dynamic range, as well as incredible low-light performance, thanks to its dual native ISO. This camera has 9 built-in ND filters, which can be quickly changed utilising a motorised system. The native DL mount of this camera is compatible with 3 compact full-frame lenses, with the promise of more to come, while it is also possible to utilise lenses from other mounts when filming with this camera, such as the classic Sony E and Leica M mount. The DJI Ronin 4D includes a large and bright 5.5-inch touch-sensitive monitor, which can be adjusted to various positions for comfortable viewing and framing, and can even be connected to various points on the camera body.

With the DJI Ronin 4D including both high-end video resolution and gimbal stability in one package, it is now easier than ever to harness cinematic power in a portable package. With a range of sensors available, the Ronin 4D can perform complex camera movements, while ActiveTrack Pro delivers enhanced subject tracking so you can be sure your key subject will remain the focal point throughout all of your movements.

The DJI Ronin 4D's new LiDAR focussing system brings with it a wealth of options, including fast and accurate manual focus which is even suitable for users who have never manually focussed previously, and speedy AF performance for manual focus only lenses, when the focus motor is mounted on the camera. Automated manual focus is available, which allows users to rely on autofocus as well as harness the ability to make manual adjustments at any time that they see fit.

DJI O3 Pro video transmission technology has been implemented in the Ronin 4D, which allows wireless transmission at the remarkable range of up to 20,000 feet. As well as 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz, the O3 Pro technology supports the DFS frequency band and an AES 256-bit encryption algorithm - this allows Full HD video transmission to remote monitors simultaneously. As well as a CFExpress card slot, the DJI Ronin 4D can record RAW footage to a connected ProSSD drive, and it can record externally via the USB Type-C Port.
