The screen is touch-sensitive, opening the door to fast and intuitive operation, including touch AF. As well as the previously mentioned fast AF performance, this high-end video camera features manual focus, which can be set via the camera's zoom ring.

Appropriate for professional users and workflows, the XA60 includes both XF-AVC and MP4 file formats, slow and fast motion recording, and both backup and relay recording to memory cards in the available dual SD card slots. Users can harness premium audio quality to go with their professional video results, with two XLR inputs available on the detachable handle, as well as linear PCM.
