The Canon EOS R5 II is capable of stunning video in up to 8K30p, while for versatile movie-making results, this camera also offers 4K120p and slow-motion-friendly Full HD240p video recording. The redesigned sensor of the EOS R5 II also results in reduced rolling shutter distortion and helps the camera produce images with minimal noise, which means brilliant low-light performance. The EOS R5 Mark II delivers exceptional video capabilities, including the ability to shoot up to 8K 60p RAW Light with professional-level options like Custom Picture, Canon Log 2, and Canon Log 3. Canon Log 2, in particular, offers an impressive 16 stops of dynamic range. To extend shooting times for high-quality 8K and 4K video, an optional cooling fan (CF-R20EP) can be attached.

This camera employs advanced deep learning to reduce noise directly in-camera when processing RAW images, eliminating the need for external software. This can be combined with in-camera upscaling for even cleaner, higher-resolution images. Additionally, the improved Co-ordinated Control Image Stabilisation, which is the combined stabilisation of the camera and an attached lens, now offers up to 8.5 stops of stabilisation at the center and 7.5 stops at the edges.
